Morning Tea


For the past week I have been drinking at least 1 cup of tea a day. 


It was 9.99 and it comes with 50 bags,...so that means each bag is about .20 cents! 

Tea's health benefits are largely due to its high content of flavonoids — plant-derived compounds that are antioxidants. Green tea is the best food source of a group called catechins. In test tubes, catechins are more powerful than vitamins C and E in halting oxidative damage to cells and appear to have other disease-fighting properties. Studies have found an association between consuming green tea and a reduced risk for several cancers, including, skin, breast, lung, colon, esophageal, and bladder.*

From what I read it is better to drink loose leaf tea - it retains more or its health properties vs bagged/instant tea. Still, there are many other variables that influence such as growing, processing and the way the tea is prepared ** (always read the instructions on how to brew your tea, I would say this is a definite key point for the tea to deliver its "tea powers"). So bottom line is both (loose leaf or bagged) teas are good, it is just more likely that the loose tea delivers more.




Add a cup of tea to your daily diet. There are literally tooons of teas to choose from.
